Introduction:
This year, a significant number of students who passed the 12th-grade exams have scored between 75% and 90%, or even higher. This increase in high-scoring students is expected to intensify the competition for degree course admissions. To secure admission to the best colleges in the city, students will need exceptional marks.
Following the announcements of results by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has also released its 12th-grade exam results. A large number of students have scored 70% and above.
In the state board's 12th-grade exams, a total of 8,782 students scored 90% or higher, while 192,554 students scored 75% or higher. This year, only students with 90% or higher are likely to secure admission in the first list of the city's top colleges. However, even among these high scorers, the competition is expected to be fierce.
