MHT CET Syllabus 2023:
MHT CET 2023 Syllabus pdf has been given by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The syllabus of MHT CET 2023 includes four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology.
MHT CET 2023 Syllabus Classification:
As per the MHT CET syllabus 2023 with weightage PCM and PCB given by the Maharashtra CET Cell, 20 percent weightage is given to the Class 11 syllabus and the remaining 80 percent to the Class 12 syllabus of the Maharashtra board.

Candidates applying for engineering courses have to appear in the Mathematics part while those applying for pharmacy courses need to appear in the Biology part. MHT CET 2023 exam date has been announced. The exam will be conduct from May 9 to 13 for the PCM group and from May 15 to 20 for PCB group. Which class syllabus comes in MHT CET -:
As per the Maharashtra CET Cell website , the exam conducting body, MHT CET 2023 syllabus PCM consists of class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. MHT CET syllabus 2023 PCB consists of class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
How many marks is MHT CET :
The total marks of MHT CET 2023 exam is 300. The question paper will consist of 3 sections; Physics for 50 marks , Chemistry for 50 marks and Mathematics/Biology with 100 marks each.
Is MHT CET syllabus same as JEE :
The syllabus of MHT CET is not the same as JEE . In the MHT CET syllabus, 20% weightage is given to class 11 and 80% weightage is from class 12 topics. Also, the MHT CET syllabus covers only a few topics from class 11. In JEE syllabus, complete class 11 and 12 topics are covered. so mht cet syllabus is not same as jee.

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2023:
MHT CET 2023 exam pattern has been announced by the exam conducting authority i.e cet cell. The MHT CET exam will be divided into the following three sections:
- Section1: Mathematics
- Section 2: Physics and Chemistry
- Section 3: Biology (Botany and Zoology)
Each of the three sections is of 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes). Although there is no negative marking in MHT CET, the difficulty level of the exam would be at par with JEE Main and NEET UG for PCM and PCB respectively. The questions will typically be application-based.
